Gabriel Casagrande secured the pole position for the NASCAR Brasil stage in Cascavel this Saturday, in an unusual qualifying session. With the wet track, the race direction canceled the sprint race and set the grid in a single 30-minute session, contested with all drivers on the track.

Due to the wet track, the race direction chose to cancel the sprint race and hold qualifying in a 30-minute session with all drivers on track.
The cars went into action only in the last ten minutes, with five attempts allowed. With that, Gabriel Casagrande proved to be the fastest, clinching pole position with 1min15s150.
Juninho Berlanda finished second with 1min15s203, followed by Victor Andradre, who recorded 1min15s368. Fourth place went to Arthur Gama, who managed 1min15s390. Denis Navarro will start fifth after marking 1min15s407.

Thiago Camilo will start in sixth position. He set his best lap at 1min15s521. Right after came Ricardo Maurício, with 1min15s565. Cacá Bueno was eighth with 1min15s885. Behind him was the current championship leader, Vitor Genz, with 1min15s934. Ricardo Zonta closed the top 10 with 1min16s076.
NASCAR Brasil will hold race 1 of the stage in Cascavel later this Saturday, at 18:00.
