Formula 1 returns next weekend in Miami, and Ferrari wants to take advantage of the moment to advance in the championship. After the forced break in April, the team intensified internal work to seek improvement.

The period without races was used to analyze data from the first three stages, with the goal of reducing the gap to Mercedes. The Italian team is betting on aerodynamic updates to make a performance leap already in this next stage.
Frédéric Vasseur, team principal, highlighted the importance of the work done in Maranello during the break: “We have worked hard in recent weeks, studying all the data from the first races to prepare ourselves as best as possible,” he said.

Even with the advances, Vasseur acknowledges that the competition will be intense, as rivals will also bring novelties to Miami. Ferrari has accumulated good results so far this year, with Charles Leclerc reaching the podium and Lewis Hamilton achieving his first top-3 for the team.
“We have some aerodynamic updates here, but other teams will do the same. It will be important to stay focused and make the most of the only practice session,” he added.
