Due to the cancellations in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia because of the war in the Middle East, competitors face a 35-day break between the Japan stage, at the end of March, and Miami, at the beginning of May.
The seven-time champion completed two days of Pirelli tests in Fiorano, Italy, and then flew to the United States. In the country, he has been constantly seen alongside socialite Kim, who is rumored to be his romantic affair.

First, they were spotted at Nobu Malibu restaurant, where they had a two-hour romantic dinner. Now, they were seen on a beach date, took photos together, and even kissed, confirming the relationship.
