Doriane Pin believes that working with Mercedes will help in the ELMS

Doriane Pin has a busy schedule for the 2026 season. In addition to being a development driver for Mercedes in Formula 1, the young Frenchwoman is also competing in the European Le Mans Series championship in the LMP2 Pro/Am class.

The endurance racing category kicked off last weekend with the 4 Hours of Barcelona. After starting from pole position in the class she races in, the Frenchwoman, along with Giorgio Roda and Richard Verschoor, finished in third place, reaching the podium.

Thinking about her work with Mercedes in F1 and everything she has learned, Doriane pointed out that she believes she is developing as a driver and can apply this to her racing programs in 2026.

“Every time I learn something with Mercedes, I bring my experience to the team as well – to improve it and for us to be better every time we get on track – but also for myself as a driver,” she told the F1 website.

“I keep improving. I am still at the beginning of my career and, every time I get in the car, I feel more comfortable and I know I can take some steps forward,” she added.
