One of the most successful drivers in the history of Brazilian motorsport, Cacá Bueno begins his second season in NASCAR Brasil this weekend, a category that visits the Autódromo Internacional de Santa Cruz do Sul (RS) for the opening of the 2026 season. The driver will once again defend Team RC in the Brazilian division of the main motorsport category in the United States.

It will be the first time that NASCAR Brasil, under this nomenclature, will hold a round at the circuit in the interior of Rio Grande do Sul. Even with a debut in the category at this circuit, Cacá arrives backed by a successful track record in Santa Cruz do Sul. At this racetrack, the owner of car number 0 has won three times in Stock Car. The driver celebrates the return to the circuit and hopes to start the season with positive results.
“The time has come to accelerate in another season of NASCAR Brasil, and I will be with Team RC for another year. We are going to fight for the title again this year. Our first challenge is in Santa Cruz do Sul, a track that I like very much and that I am happy to be able to return to. We are going in search of a good start to the championship,” said Cacá Bueno, who is sponsored by Betnacional, Capital Concreto, PicPay, ACDelco, SpeedMax Pneus, Pneu Store, Milwaukee, Turbi and Chevrolet.

NASCAR Brasil activities begin this Friday starting at 16h25 with the first free practice. Activities continue on Saturday at 9h15 with the second session. Qualifying is scheduled for 12h35 on the same day and will be followed by the Sprint race at 13h15. Sunday’s schedule includes two more races, at 8h30 and 14h20. The category will be broadcast on SBT, ESPN, Disney+ and YouTube.
