NASCAR Brasil will have a major boost in the 2026 season with the arrival of Nicolas Costa at the AMattheis Vogel team. The driver will make his debut in the category behind the wheel of the Chevrolet Camaro #69, joining one of the most structured projects on the grid.

Born in Rio de Janeiro and living in São Paulo, Costa sees the new phase as an important step in his career. “I am super happy to have this new journey with AMattheis Vogel, two highly respected names in our motorsport,” he stated.
The opening round will be in Santa Cruz do Sul, a track that marked his career. “Santa Cruz is a circuit I have a lot of affection for, as it was where I won my first Brazilian title. I haven’t raced there since 2010, so it will be very cool to have that contact again,” he highlighted.
Even in the adaptation process, the driver shows ambition. “My expectations are very high. The category is super competitive, but I believe we are a very strong team. My idea is to understand how the championship works at the beginning, but I have total conviction that we have the conditions to fight at the front,” he said.
Regarding the level of competition, he projects balance. “The championship has some of the best teams and drivers in Brazil, so I expect a super close competition, which is very cool,” he added.
Born on November 14, 1991, Nicolas Leite Rebelo Costa has accumulated important titles, such as the Brazilian Formula Futuro Fiat Championship, in addition to the Italian and European Formula Abarth championships and the Formula Abarth Winter Trophy. In touring cars, he won the Italian GT Championship and titles in the Porsche Carrera Cup Sprint and Porsche Cup Endurance.
He also has experience in the FIA WEC, with participations in races such as the 24 Hours of Le Mans, 6 Hours of Spa-Francorchamps, and 6 Hours of Fuji, in addition to having won the Skip Barber Shootout and received the Capacete de Ouro.
