Pipo Massa is one of the names making his debut in the 2026 Porsche Cup season. In Interlagos for the first stage of the championship, the young competitor spoke about his expectations for the year and being able to race on such a traditional stage for motorsport and with a deep history for his father Felipe.

This weekend is not the first time Pipo has been inside a car of the series. At the end of 2025, he was able to participate in an activity where he did his ‘initiation’, driving precisely at the Autódromo José Carlos Pace. However, it was not an official category weekend, but just a test.
So, in a question from F1MANIA.NET, he told what the differences were from that experience to this stage. “I think the biggest difference I noticed was the track condition, I had never driven in such conditions, especially in Interlagos where it rains, dries, and dries very quickly. So, this adaptation from dry to wet and from wet to dry, I had to adapt,” he said.

Not only that, right in his first Porsche Cup race he will be able to drive in Interlagos, something special for Massa. “Debut, I am very happy to be in Interlagos. I still don’t know the track 100%, this is my fifth time driving on the track, but I’m already evolving, adapting. The feeling is just gratitude for being here,” he said.
Finally, he told F1MANIA.NET that the expectations for 2026 are “to keep evolving and achieve good results in the overall and in the categories. That is the expectation.”
