Marçal Müller will start from pole position in the Carrera Cup class of the Porsche Cup at Interlagos. In qualifying for race 1 this Saturday (28), the driver of Porsche #544 clocked 1min35s868 to take the position of honor on the grid.

Sharing the front row with the competitor is Lucas Salles, who set a lap 0s286 slower than the leader. Sebá Malucelli, Thiago Vivacqua and Matheus Comparatto complete the top five starting positions at Interlagos.
This is the 27th pole of Müller’s career in the Porsche Cup, with 22 in the Carrera Cup class.

Pipo Massa, making his debut this weekend, already started accelerating well. Among the rookies, the son of the former Formula 1 driver was fast and held the best position at the time. Later, he managed to lower it even further with 1min37s906.
Following the 16-year-old driver were José Moura Neto, Leonardo Sanchez, Rafael Brocchi and Marco Pisani completing the top five positions.
At this moment, a curious strategy: Moura Neto used the boost, a button to provide extra power, and immediately after went to the pits. For the entire weekend, drivers would have ten activations between qualifying and two races.
With the rookie class concluded and in his debut, Pipo secured the class pole. Sanchez took second place, recording a time of 1min37s982.
It was the turn of the Sport class competitors to take to the track. After the first few minutes, Sebá Malucelli took the top spot on the table, but shortly after other names began to move to the front, first with Cristian Mohr and then with Leonardo Herrmann in the lead with 1min37s166.
Another part of qualifying ended and Malucelli finished the group in first place with 1min37s030. Just 0s136 behind the leader, Herrmann was second. Alceu Feldmann, Mohr and Lineu Pires completed the top five positions.

It was the turn of the general Carrera Cup class competitors. As soon as the pitlane was opened, it didn’t take long for the competitors to leave the pits and start accelerating. In the first few minutes, however, they were mostly warming up tires and doing installation laps. The time to beat was Sebá’s.
The first times began to appear more at the top of the table. Matheus Comparatto was in fifth place, 0s679 behind the leader, with Thiago Vivacqua and Jeff Giassi in eighth and ninth, respectively.
With two minutes remaining in this phase of the Carrera Cup qualifying at Interlagos, Marçal Müller was in first place with 1min36s627, with Miguel Paludo, Vivacqua, Lucas Salles and Comparatto closing out the top five positions. Between first and 14th, everyone was within the same second.
Qualifying now reached the final phase with the top-10 competing for pole position. The competitors going into the shootout were Müller, Paludo, Vivacqua, Salles, Comparatto, Mariotti, Malucelli, Giassi, Antonella Bassani and Herrmann.
Pits open and while almost all drivers went to the track, an unusual scene: competitors have a 3-minute time limit to leave. Paludo exceeded it and, as a result, was barred from competing for pole position.
The laps began and the current positions were held by Malucelli, Herrmann, Bassani, Mariotti, Salles, Müller, Comparatto, Vivacqua and Giassi. Paludo had no time.
On his fast lap, then, Marçal set a blistering time. The 2025 Overall champion recorded 1min35s868 and jumped to provisional pole, no less than 0s623 faster than the rest of the field.
