Pipo Massa will start from the second row in his second stage on the Porsche Cup grid. In qualifying at Velocitta this Saturday (28), the 2026 season rookie finished only behind José Moura Neto in the Rookie class.

At the championship opener, the driver made a clean sweep by taking pole position and securing victory in both races at Interlagos. Watching everything closely was proud father Felipe Massa, former Formula 1.
Now, in Mogi Guaçu, he faces a new circuit in his career and in qualifying, he achieved the second fastest time, starting from the front row in race 1 of the weekend.

“A little bit was missing there in sector 1, it was possible to get a better result, but it’s good. Now it’s time to focus on the race and go for it,” he commented to the Porsche Cup broadcast.
Furthermore, Velocitta is known for being a tight circuit and therefore, Pipo knows that the starting position is essential. “It really is very important to have a good qualifying to start well because this track is very tight and difficult to overtake. So, I think it’s really good to have a good qualy to maintain the position,” he concluded.
