Lando Norris gained a position in the F1 Power Rankings after the Formula 1 Spanish GP held in Madrid, despite not converting the pole position into a win. The score of 9.6 received for his performance over the Spanish weekend raised his season average to 7.7.

This result placed Norris ahead of Pierre Gasly in the overall standings and brought the McLaren driver closer to Max Verstappen and Lewis Hamilton. The Dutchman is in second, with an average of 7.9, while Hamilton has 7.8, just 0.1 points above Norris.
The Power Rankings exclusively evaluate the individual performance of the drivers, regardless of the car used. After each GP, five evaluators assign scores from 1 to 10, which are combined to form the score for each stage, and subsequently, the accumulated season average.
In Madrid, Norris led the first laps after securing pole and was building a high-level weekend. The virtual safety car intervention, however, favored the rivals during pit stops and caused the Brit to lose the lead, leaving victory as the only result missing to complete his performance.

Verstappen received 8.6 for the Spanish stage and maintained second place in the ranking, while Hamilton remains just ahead of Norris. At the top, Kimi Antonelli remains isolated with an average of 8.9, after securing his eighth win of the 2026 season in Madrid.
Pierre Gasly appears in fifth, with 7.6, while Arvid Lindblad and George Russell share sixth place, both with 7.5. Liam Lawson is eighth, with 7.4, followed by Charles Leclerc, with 7.2, and Isack Hadjar, who closes the top 10 with an average of 7.0.
