Race 2 of the seventh stage of TCR South America ended with Raphael Reis on top in Concordia, Argentina. The Brazilian took advantage of the grid inversion to start in front and managed to hold the lead even after the safety car came out. Leonel Pernía finished second, with Nelson Piquet Jr. completing the podium of the race that closed Sunday (13). Check out how it went:

Raphael Reis started in first position after the grid inversion. The Brazilian held well in the first lap, while Nelson Piquet Jr. jumped to second place. Fabian Yannantuoni moved up to third. The first laps happened without incidents.
Juan Angel Rosso managed to overtake Joaquín Cafaro for seventh place and the race stabilized for some time, with Reis taking advantage to open a gap over the pack.
Reis was isolated in the lead, but a safety car ended up interfering in the race and bringing the pack closer again.
The restart happened with 10 minutes still on the clock. Reis stayed in first, already regaining advantage.
The fight for third place heated up, with at least four cars chasing Fabian Yannantuoni, but he managed to defend himself.

In sixth, Leonel Pernía overtook Tiago Pernía and moved up to fifth place. Then, he went after Nestor Girolami. The two were side by side and Pernía took the better, moving up to fourth.
Pernía also managed to surpass Yannantuoni to secure third position and shortly after passed Piquet Jr., starting to chase Reis.
However, the Brazilian managed to maintain the lead and won the race. Pernía finished second, with Piquet Jr. completing the podium. Yannantuoni took fourth place, while Girolami closed the top-5.
Tiago Pernía was sixth, followed by Juan Ángel Rosso and Fabricio Pezzini. Gabriel Moura finished ninth, while Bruno Massa was tenth.
