Formula 3 arrives for its last race of the 2026 season with the two championship leaders tied in the standings. Ugo Ugochukwu and Freddie Slater have 141 points after Saturday’s (12) races at Madring, a street circuit set up in Madrid, Spain.

Ugochukwu scored points in both races on Saturday, while Slater was outside the points zone in the first race and retired from the second race. The Campos Racing driver has the advantage in tiebreak criteria, but the Trident representative starts the race ahead this Sunday.
Already out of title contention, Taito Kato is third with 93 points, while Theóphile Nael is fourth with 88. The top 5 also includes Ernesto Rivera, with 85. Pedro Clerot, winner of Saturday’s main race, is seventh with 73, and Fernando Barrichello appears in 28th with two points.
The race that will decide the 2026 Formula 3 season champion will be held this Sunday, starting at 4:25 AM.
