The category has not yet faced any session with a wet track under the new car regulations. The Miami GP was moved forward by 3 hours to avoid a lightning storm, but despite concerns, the race was held in dry conditions.
Canada had a rain alert, but it occurred in dry conditions. F1 also avoided precipitation during the weekend at the Belgian GP, while in Zandvoort, rain fell moments before the checkered flag in the Sprint, and in the main race the start was wet, but with slick tires.
Now, for the passage through Madrid, as in Monza, it is unlikely that drivers and teams will face the first sessions with a wet track, with the BBC weather service indicating high temperatures.

On Friday, the forecast is that the thermometer will reach 23ºC and almost no wind in FP1, but in FP2 it will already rise to 30ºC.
For qualifying Saturday, the temperature is expected to reach 31ºC, while for the Sunday race, it will increase to 32ºC.
