On a dry track Friday, the Blumenau competitor highlighted the setup that delivered great performance in the free practice.

The 2025 Carrera Rookie champion, who is seeking his first podium in Carrera Sport this season, was heading for a top 10 overall in his best lap when a “drift” in the final section cost him precious fractions of a second.
For the weekend, Morestoni trusts the car’s balance, whatever the track condition. The weather forecast indicates rain and a drop in temperature during the night, so the drivers’ first contact with the São Paulo circuit on Saturday morning should be under somewhat different conditions from those faced in Friday’s practice.

The weekend features two qualifying sessions and two races, both broadcast by Band and Bandsports as well as the official digital platforms of the Porsche Cup.

What he said:
“I am very hopeful. We prepared the car with a very different setup, which was our strategy. We had meetings during the week to discuss this because the car accepts a setup that seems to only work for us, it’s not a standard setup. And it has worked as it did today. We will try to keep it like this until the end. The ideal lap in free practice was 1:37.5, which would place me among the six or seven first. So there was a little mishap at the end, but that won’t happen in qualifying. Today we found the car setup and we go with good expectations for the two qualifying sessions and tomorrow’s race.”
