After more than a month without races, Formula 3 resumes the 2026 season this weekend at the Monza National Circuit in Italy, opening its decisive phase. The visit to the fast Italian circuit marks the penultimate of the nine rounds of this year’s championship and marks another chapter in the title fight.

Freddie Slater, Trident driver, leads the championship with 130 points, against 122 from Ugo Ugochukwu, vice-leader with Campos Racing. Theóphile Nael appears in third with 75 points, while Ernesto Rivera, with 72, and Brando Badoer, with 71, close the top 5. Pedro Clerot has 48 points and is tenth, while Fernando Barrichello has two points and is 27th.

The F3 schedule in Monza will start on Friday, when the only free practice of the weekend and the qualifying session that defines the starting positions for the two races will be held. The Sprint is scheduled for Saturday at 4:30 AM, while the main race starts at 3:15 AM on Sunday. F1TV broadcasts all activities live.
