Formula 1 will welcome a big celebrity this weekend at the Italian GP: none other than Lightning McQueen, the star of the Disney movie Cars. Also, the safety car will feature a paint job inspired by the character.

The car will be present in Monza to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the franchise launched by Disney and Pixar. McQueen will complete a full lap of the circuit during the event, while the Mercedes-AMG safety car will have a very special design. The event is part of the collaboration between the category and the studio.

The main goal is to create a memorable moment of universe collision for fans of Formula 1, Disney, and Pixar, with the presence of the seven-time Piston Cup champion in Italy.
