Gabriel Bortoleto once again made it to Q3 in qualifying for the 2026 Formula 1 season. This Saturday (22) at the Dutch GP, the Brazilian managed to place himself among the ten fastest and starts from ninth position in the race.

The competitor has shown good pace in the calendar’s return at Zandvoort. In the earlier Sprint race, starting ninth, he finished in the same position, just missing out on points after chasing Pierre Gasly.
Now, in the qualifying session for the Sunday GP, the Audi driver managed to advance to Q3 for the fourth time this year and starts from the fifth row alongside Arvid Lindblad. “Well, I managed to deliver an excellent final result, but I would say I made mistakes in Q1,” he told SporTV after the session.

“In fact, there was a moment when I got irritated because on the first lap we tried to do something we hadn’t done all weekend and it didn’t work in the tire warm-up, and on the last lap, which was the last lap I had, I almost spun exiting turn 1,” he continued.
“Well, I think that moment was quite intense, I still managed to finish the lap, passed, and still managed to do a good lap after that, but it was really a very intense qualifying that, in the end, we managed to deliver a result that was ahead of the Racing Bulls and the Alpines. I’m happy with that,” he concluded.
