“Lando did a great job, so congratulations to him and McLaren. It was a strong session. I think we had the conditions to fight for pole, but I am quite satisfied with second place, especially for being able to regain the pace after some tough races before the break; it’s good to find my rhythm again and try to compete with them tomorrow,” he said.

“I feel good and like myself again, which is very important. It was very good to drive here, and the lower temperatures made the track feel very fast. So, it was a real pleasure for all of us to drive here, and I’m looking forward to the race,” he continued.
