However, even after announcing her immediate departure from the official F1 broadcaster in the UK, Brookes dismissed that it had anything to do with the interview episode.

“It had absolutely nothing to do with the comments and insults I received online last year. That was resolved very quickly, and I have a great relationship with Max. So, it has absolutely nothing to do with that. I know many people thought so, and some articles were even written about it. But that is not the case, not at all,” she explained.
