“Kimi needs time to develop. Max is driving at the peak of his form; he is capable of anything. The two respect each other. They are from different generations. But having both on the same team naturally represents a completely different starting scenario,” Wolff said.
“But it’s not something that scares me; the situation with [Nico] Rosberg and [Lewis] Hamilton was more difficult. I would probably handle it better nowadays. We have no fear of having both on the same team at some point. But, in the current situation, we are happy with the dynamic between Kimi and George. We have made great progress as a team. Adding another variable now would not be ideal for our long-term development,” he concluded.
