Fred Vasseur left the Hungarian Grand Prix of Formula 1 last Sunday (26) dissatisfied, saying that Ferrari made “many mistakes” and the strategy execution was very poor.

At the beginning of the weekend at Hungaroring, Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc dominated the activities, leading free practice sessions and managing to qualify in the first two rows of the grid.
However, in the race, Lando Norris, who started from pole position, proved unbeatable and secured the victory, with Max Verstappen and Kimi Antonelli completing the podium. The seven-time world champion finished fourth, but a penalty dropped him to fifth, while the Monegasque took fourth place.

“It’s hard to fully understand the pace because I think clean air is fundamental. Firstly, it was not a good Sunday, because when you are first and second on Friday, you expect much more than fourth and fifth places,” he said.
“Also, we made many mistakes, starting with the start, with the penalty, with the fact that Max overtook us on track, and at every pit stop, we lost a position by 0.2 or 0.3 seconds,” he added.
