Victoria Farfus, daughter of Augusto Farfus, Endurance driver, was the fastest in the rookies test held by F1 Academy at the Navarra Circuit, in Spain.

With the aim of giving young female drivers the chance to demonstrate their potential for a possible grid spot or Wild Card appearance in a round, the second edition of the rookies test took place in an expanded format in 2026.
Last month, the 18 selected spent the week at the Training Camp at Loughborough University to undergo a series of physical and cognitive assessments, as well as interactive workshops to accelerate development on and off the track. Afterwards, they received insights into the demands of racing in the F1 Academy, being immersed in six grid teams during two days of mid-season testing for the main competitors.
The rookies test ended with a day of track running, with the 18 female drivers from 14 countries behind the wheel of the female category car. In total, 1447 laps were completed and Brazilian Farfus was the fastest with 1min46s988, 0.3 seconds quicker than Sofia Zanfari, second, and Rosanne Den Drijver in the morning session.

In the afternoon, Alexia Danielsson was the fastest with 1min47s259, beating Ella Lähdemaa and Vicky by 0.2 seconds. Also, the test featured Wild Cards Autumn Fisher and Zoe Florescu, as well as Mercedes junior driver Luna Fluxa.
