Vice-leader of the NASCAR Brazil championship, Tito Giaffone has an unprecedented challenge in his motorsport career in search of the top of the standings. This weekend, the Full Time Sports driver races for the first time in his career on the outer ring of the Autódromo Internacional de Mato Grosso, in Cuiabá, where the category holds the fifth stage of the championship with a double night round.

This weekend’s stage has some differences compared to previous rounds. Besides being held at night and being the first of the year on an outer ring, the double round will have both races held with a short interval between them. Thus, Tito believes that the practice sessions gain even more importance.

“We are going to a circuit where I have never raced, which is the outer ring of Cuiabá. Since it is a night stage and with the races scheduled one after the other, I have to seek a quick adaptation. So starting the practice sessions well is important to fight at the front in qualifying and in the races,” says Tito Giaffone, who is sponsored by PX.

The owner of car number 15 appears in second place among the competitors in the Challenge category, where he has one victory, obtained at Interlagos, and three podiums this season, being 15 points behind the leader. Tito has also shown good performances in the overall results, having a top-5 and three top-10 finishes after four stages.

The NASCAR Brazil activities start this Thursday with the first free practice at 9:35 PM. The second practice is scheduled for 6:10 PM on Friday and, on the same day, qualifying and the Sprint Race take place starting at 9:35 PM. The first race is scheduled for 6:05 PM on Saturday and the second starts at 6:50 PM the same day.
