Driver representing Full Time Sports in NASCAR Brazil, Tito Giaffone won on Sunday (31) the second race of the third stage of the championship, held at the Interlagos Circuit, in São Paulo (SP), among the competitors in the Challenge category. The owner of car number 15 had a combative race and took the lead of the race in the final part, securing the victory in the class and fourth place overall after 30 minutes of racing.

After finishing in fourth place among the Challenge class competitors in the first race of the day, held in the morning with light drizzle at Interlagos, Tito admitted he did not expect to have such a strong pace in dry conditions. Battling positions against very experienced drivers, the representative of Giaffone Mission Zero had good battles and secured the victory, his first at Interlagos in cars and the second in NASCAR Brazil.
“I am very happy, as it was a weekend that started with great challenges. The car was not performing well, although it was good in the rain. I went into the dry race with low expectations, but everything worked out. We had clean and good battles, and now we have to maintain this level for the rest of the year. I have to thank PX and Full Time. We are going all out for the next stage,” commented Tito Giaffone, who is sponsored by PX.

The Giaffone family celebration at Interlagos had already started earlier, in the Copa Truck, when Nic Giaffone triumphed in the Elite. “Very happy to be on the track watching my two sons winning at Interlagos. It is a dream come true to be able to follow all this up close,” says Felipe Giaffone, eight-time Brazilian truck champion.
After the stop at the Interlagos Circuit, NASCAR Brazil continues in the state of São Paulo and holds its fourth stage on June 28, when it visits Velocitta, a circuit located in Mogi Guaçu.
