Galid Osman arrives at the Circuito dos Cristais with a positive memory: it was at the Minas Gerais oval that the Cavaleiro Sports driver won the NASCAR Brasil Series stage last year. Now, he returns to Curvelo with the mission to seek a good result again and, above all, secure his place among the top 12 in the championship.

The seventh stage, scheduled for September 19 and 20, closes the regular season and puts 75 points at stake, divided between the qualifying session and the two races. At the end of the weekend, the top 12 in the standings also receive a 20-point bonus for the Playoffs.

Osman hopes to take advantage of his familiarity with the circuit to return to the top of the podium.

“The expectation is very good. I hope to repeat the victory we had there last year. The focus is to stay among the top 12 to keep the title chances alive. I want to repeat the victory we had on this track last year,” highlights Galid.

The fight for the Playoff spots promises to be tight in Curvelo. Jorge Martelli appears in 13th position, with 47 points, followed by Gui Backes, with 44, and Felipe Tozzo, with 41. The three are separated by only six points and arrive at the stage still with chances to enter the qualifying zone.

Among the top 12, Denis Navarro and Ricardo Maurício are tied with 54 points, occupying 11th and 12th positions. Therefore, any change in the score can directly alter the formation of the group that will move on to the decisive phase.
