Young driver Murilo Rocha highlighted the evolution and learning after his debut in qualifying sessions in NASCAR Brazil this Saturday (11), in Santa Cruz do Sul (RS). At 16 years old, the youngest competitor on the 2026 grid celebrated the performance achieved, despite recognizing that there is still room for improvement.

“It’s positive, we have things to improve but it was still my first qualifying with touring cars, so it changes a bit from what I was used to. But we will work so that we keep improving more and more,” said Rocha, when evaluating his performance.
In the qualifying activity, the Full Time team driver recorded a time of 1min29s633. The result placed him in fourth position in the Challenge category and in ninth place overall, finishing 0s625 tenths behind the session leader, Vitor Genz, and 0.295 behind the first-placed driver within his category, Tito Giaffone.
