In just his second year on the grid, the Italian has shone in these first races. Out of five GPs contested, he has won four consecutively and leads the standings with a 43-point advantage over George Russell.
When asked if Antonelli was thinking about the championship, Villeneuve replied, “Of course. A season is a rollercoaster. There is a period when everything goes well and suddenly something goes wrong.”

“One or two races and you get destabilized. That’s the danger. And people think: ‘Oh, you won’t win anymore.’ And then the other driver starts to believe that, and it’s a rollercoaster. So, let’s see how things unfold,” he added.
