Formula 1 held three fewer races until June 30 compared to the first six months of 2025. Besides the longer breaks planned before the start of the season, the conflict caused no events to be held in April, when the Bahrain and Saudi Arabia GPs were scheduled.

Operating profit was US$ 180 million, and Adjusted OIBDA, the company’s operational performance indicator, fell 30% to US$ 311 million compared to 2025.

Despite the impacts, Formula 1 President and CEO Stefano Domenicali highlighted the good moment of the category: “This season has shown the best of our sport, with competitive races and fascinating storylines that are driving strong fan engagement, with increases in attendance, viewership, and accumulated digital impressions so far this season,” he said.

The executive also emphasized the category’s adaptation to calendar changes. “Our sport continues to demonstrate its adaptability and creativity – the 2026 Bahrain Grand Prix will be hosted in Malaysia, as per the agreement announced last week.”

F1 has already confirmed the Bahrain GP for October 4 in Malaysia. The Saudi Arabia GP was canceled, while Qatar and Abu Dhabi remain undecided. The expectation is to complete the season with at least 22 races.
