Formula 1 returns this weekend for the Belgian Grand Prix, the tenth round of the 2026 season. Between July 17 and 19, drivers and teams speed up on the traditional Spa-Francorchamps circuit, the stage of one of the most iconic races on the category’s calendar.

The Belgian round takes place right after a one-week break and opens the double round that precedes the European summer break. In the previous race, at Silverstone, Ferrari returned to winning in the season, while the battle between the main teams remains increasingly balanced in the fight for the Drivers’ and Constructors’ championships.
Spa-Francorchamps is the longest circuit on the Formula 1 calendar, with a length of 7.004 km. The layout combines long straights, high-speed corners, and significant elevation changes, featuring historic sections such as Eau Rouge, Raidillon, Pouhon, and Blanchimont. Additionally, the unstable weather of the Ardennes region often influences the race outcome, requiring quick strategic decisions from the teams.
The weekend will be contested in the traditional format, with three free practice sessions, qualifying on Saturday, and the race on Sunday. The race will have 44 laps.

Where to watch the Belgian F1 GP
In Brazil, the Belgian GP race will be broadcast live by Globo on open TV. All weekend sessions — the three free practice sessions, qualifying, and the race — will be broadcast on Sportv. F1 TV Pro/Premium subscribers will also be able to follow the entire event schedule.
