“Formula 1 is investing in the most relevant technology for society, so this power unit is probably one of the most efficient in the world,” he said.
“50:50, 50% battery energy, that’s a lot. And also, as you know, the fuels are carbon neutral. Biofuels, synthetic fuels, a mix of both. So it’s a carbon-neutral fuel. But there are also many criticisms at the moment, because you could see in the last race, they enter the straight, take the corner at full speed and need to downshift after the corner, still on the straight, because the battery energy runs out,” he added.
