The decision ended the dispute that began after Alpine had previously succeeded in a review request to remove Gasly’s penalties. For Red Bull, the judgment confirmed that the facts and regulations supported the position defended by the team throughout the process.

“We are very pleased with the decision of the FIA International Court of Appeal, and we want to thank the FIA for demonstrating the strength of its governance framework,” Red Bull said in a statement. The team also highlighted that it considered the decision important for the integrity of the competition and for sporting justice.
