Sergio Perez received the first fines of the Spanish Grand Prix weekend in Formula 1, while Alexander Albon was summoned by the stewards after TL1 in Madring. The Cadillac driver exceeded the pit lane speed limit twice.

Perez was caught at 86.7 km/h and 96.7 km/h, considering the 80 km/h limit set for the Madrid circuit. For the two infractions, the Mexican received fines of 700 and 1,000 euros, respectively.
Albon, in turn, is being investigated for a possible unsafe return to the track at turn 6. The Williams driver was called by the stewards to provide clarifications, while Arvid Lindblad, from Racing Bulls, was also summoned regarding a similar incident.

The first TL1 held at Madring ended with George Russell in the lead, with a time of 1:34.077. Kimi Antonelli completed the one-two by placing his Mercedes car in second position, while Charles Leclerc of Ferrari completed the top three.
The inaugural session at the Spanish circuit had no accidents, but several times were deleted. In addition, several drivers complained about being hindered during their laps, including Nico Hulkenberg and Carlos Sainz, who expressed dissatisfaction with Lewis Hamilton.
