Formula 1 may have changes in the result of the Sprint of the 2026 Canadian GP. Esteban Ocon is under investigation by the stewards after a possible technical infringement involving the tire pressure of his Haas.

The French driver finished the short race in 13th place at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, but now faces the risk of disqualification. The case was referred to the stewards by the FIA technical delegate, Jo Bauer.
According to the official report, the tire pressure of car number 31 was checked on the grid at 11:51 local time and all wheels were correctly installed on the car one minute later, following the procedures determined by the FIA. However, the entity identified an irregular alteration shortly before the start.

According to Bauer, “at 11:56, air was removed from the left rear tire with the wheel already installed on the car.” The document states that the action was not in compliance with points 2.2, 2.7, and 2.8 of the FIA tire operational procedure.
After the complaint, the stewards decided to open a formal investigation into the case. Ocon was summoned to appear before the officials at 14:45 local time in Montreal. If the infringement is confirmed, the Haas driver may be excluded from the final Sprint result in Canada.
