Kimi Antonelli received a very special congratulation for his victory at the Miami GP of Formula 1. None other than player Lionel Messi made a point of celebrating with the Italian after last Sunday’s race.

At the Hard Rock Stadium street circuit, the young competitor delivered another great performance. Starting from pole position, he lost some positions but recovered the lead and achieved his third consecutive victory of 2026.
After the race, returning to Mercedes hospitality, Antonelli was welcomed with a celebration and Messi, who was one of the team’s guests, was there to congratulate the driver.

“Little Kimi making Messi smile, something rare,” a fan commented on the video. “So much talent and humility together. You can’t help but be happy with Kimi’s victory,” another commented.
With the triumph in Miami, Antonelli increased his lead in the Formula 1 standings to 20 points.
