Arvid Lindblad had a very positive first race of his Formula 1 career. In this Sunday’s (8) Australian GP, the Racing Bulls driver crossed the finish line in eighth place.

The 18-year-old competitor started ninth and after a chaotic start, appeared in third place. As the race unfolded, he ended up in eighth place and under pressure from Gabriel Bortoleto.
In the end, he crossed the finish line in the points zone and described the day as “quite special” at Albert Park.
“I don’t think I made any mistakes this weekend. I think I got the most out of the car in almost every session,” he added.

When asked about his start, the Briton commented on his focus and stated that he was not intimidated when it came to wheel-to-wheel racing with the opponents around him
“Yes, it was a great feeling. I mean, the team did a great job. I just focused on my procedure, did my part right. And then, as soon as the lights went out, I was looking for every gap and diving in,” he concluded.
