The new rules of the world category have been the target of criticism from the drivers. Lando Norris pointed out that the competitors’ opinions matter little, while Max Verstappen, the most vocal on the grid, always emphasizes how the races are artificial and seem like Mario Kart.
The Ferrari Monegasque then spoke about the regulations and safety issues, highlighting how it is necessary to adopt a different racing style with the new Formula 1 cars.
“I think with these cars, we certainly need to race differently, and there is no doubt about that,” he said.

“And one of the points was precisely the change of direction when performing the superclipping, and that is what creates quite dangerous scenarios.”
During the month of April, the FIA and teams are holding a series of meetings for specific changes to the regulations before the championship returns at the Miami GP, from May 1st to 3rd.
