Charles Leclerc has once again had his name linked to an issue off the Formula 1 tracks, after his wife, Alexandra Saint Mleux, publicly responded to an offensive comment on social media. The Ferrari driver’s partner rebutted criticisms made in a recent Instagram post and defended her identity beyond her relationship with the Monegasque.

The response quickly gained attention among Formula 1 fans. Alexandra reacted after a user stated that she ‘would be nothing’ without Leclerc, a comment that prompted a direct response from the influencer on social media.
In the post, Saint Mleux highlighted that she has her own interests, passions, and hobbies, as well as a life considered normal outside the world of fame. She also stated that being the wife of the Ferrari driver does not completely define who she is as a person: “Actually, without my husband I am just a normal girl, with normal hobbies, normal interests, and normal passions, trying to be as kind as possible. That is also what I am as his wife. And there is nothing wrong with that,” Alexandra wrote.
Leclerc’s wife also took the opportunity to reflect on how people measure personal value on social media. According to her, fame or professional recognition should not be the only criteria used to define someone’s importance.

“You are probably that too, and that’s great,” she added. Alexandra also stated that not everyone was born to hold professions with great public exposure, but that does not diminish anyone’s individual value: “Not all of us were made to be singers, doctors, actresses, or athletes, and that doesn’t take away anyone’s value,” she continued. The influencer emphasized that the most important thing is related to how each person treats others in daily life.
She ended her response defending that character and behavior carry much more weight than status or notoriety: “Who you are as a person, how you treat others, and what you choose to do in your free time is what really matters. Reflect on that,” she concluded.
