Nico Hulkenberg finished the Formula 1 Chinese GP in 11th position, highlighting the importance of completing the entire race after missing the Melbourne round.

“It wasn’t the smoothest race, but the main thing for me was finally completing the full distance after missing Melbourne. These cars are still quite new territory, especially with energy management, so every lap is useful at this point,” Hulkenberg stated.
The German driver also commented on Audi’s next steps: “There is a lot to analyze from today. We will review everything next week, organize some details and get back to racing in Japan,” he added.

Hulkenberg’s focus now is on extracting the maximum learning from each race, and on preparing the team to improve performance for the remainder of the 2026 season.
