The 2026 season begins this weekend with the Australian GP, held in Melbourne between March 6 to 8.
So, as a way to ‘warm up’ for the race at Albert Park, Formula 1 prepared a video on its YouTube channel so that the 22 drivers could introduce themselves and, among the points, the competitors needed to share a surprising fact.
The seven-time world champion then stated he has ADHD, a neurological condition whose symptoms include hyperactivity and difficulty concentrating.

“I have ADHD. When I walk into a room in my house, I start organizing all the books perfectly. And I get extremely frustrated when I see something out of place, like my lamp tilted to the left,” he said.
“I walk into the house and do a full lap before even sitting down, reorganizing everything. And then, an hour later, I think: ‘Damn, I hadn’t even noticed’,” he added.
