Lewis Hamilton did not hide his frustration with the performance in the Miami GP Formula 1 Sprint qualifying after finishing P7. The British driver admitted dissatisfaction with this result.

Despite the below-expected performance, the Ferrari driver sees room for recovery throughout the weekend. The starting grid position for the Sprint race still allows for progress, especially with car adjustments.
“I am disappointed with the final result of the Sprint qualifying,” Hamilton said after the session. Even so, he emphasized that there is still time to react and improve performance in the upcoming activities.

The seven-time world champion reinforced that the focus now is on evolution for the Sprint race and also for the qualifying session for Sunday’s GP. The expectation is that setup changes can put the car in a more competitive position.
“It’s early in the weekend and we will work hard to have a good Sprint race and also a good qualifying session,” Hamilton concluded.
