Isack Hadjar has plenty of reasons to celebrate after the Australian Formula 1 GP qualifying this Saturday (7). Being the only Red Bull in Q3, the Frenchman will start from the second row, in third place, behind only the Mercedes duo.

In his first qualifying session defending the Austrian team, the competitor showed great performance. On his fast lap, he recorded a time of 1min19s303 to put himself in a good position, 0s3 faster than Charles Leclerc, who starts fourth.
Evaluating his performance after the checkered flag, Isack did not hide his joy and said it was an excellent first step in his journey with Red Bull.

“I am very happy with this result. When I crossed the finish line on the last lap, I knew I had done a good lap. It was the perfect start to my career with the team. Going into qualifying, it wasn’t something we expected, so we can be very satisfied,” he said.
“We were improving with every lap, from the first lap in Q1 to the last, the car and I improved every time. We managed to find the consistency we didn’t have yesterday and, throughout the session, I felt the car was strong, both in the chassis and the power unit. We put ourselves in a strong position for tomorrow and we will see what we can do to hold off those behind us,” he concluded.
