Mark Rushbrook, head of Ford Racing, celebrated the brand’s first podium with Red Bull after Max Verstappen finished third at the Formula 1 Canadian GP.

In a difficult start to the season, the four-time world champion finally achieved his first top-3 of the year at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve, sharing the podium with Kimi Antonelli and Lewis Hamilton. Not only that, Isack Hadjar finished fifth, also his best result of the season.
Therefore, with the achievement in Montreal, it marks a great feat for Red Bull, which for the first time in F1 is running with its own engine, in a technical partnership with Ford Racing. “Seeing Max achieve the first podium of the Red Bull Ford Powertrains era is a historic moment for our partnership,” said Rushbrook.
