Formula 1 had the official grid for the Sprint of the 2026 Canadian GP confirmed by the FIA this Saturday in Montreal. George Russell secured pole position for Mercedes and will share the front row with teammate Kimi Antonelli.

The Sprint will be held at 1:00 PM Brasília time, at the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. F1MANIA.NET will provide real-time coverage of all Saturday activities, including the qualifying for the Canadian Grand Prix.
McLaren will occupy the second row with Lando Norris in third and Oscar Piastri in fourth. For Ferrari, Lewis Hamilton starts from fifth position, just ahead of Charles Leclerc. Max Verstappen starts seventh with Red Bull, accompanied by Isack Hadjar in the fourth row.
Among the grid highlights is Gabriel Bortoleto, who starts 12th for Audi, while Arvid Lindblad secured an impressive ninth place for Racing Bulls. Franco Colapinto also advanced well and will start 13th for Alpine.

Four drivers will have to start the Sprint from the pits: Lance Stroll, Oliver Bearman, Pierre Gasly, and Alexander Albon. Additionally, Valtteri Bottas and Liam Lawson gained positions after the changes confirmed in the official grid.
