After a difficult year in 2025 with Ferrari, the Briton managed to turn things around this championship and has already achieved a win and five podiums, appearing second in the Drivers’ World Championship. Meanwhile, the Mercedes driver has faced a series of problems, hindering his attempt to pursue his first title.


“Lewis is Lewis, and he deserves to be at the top. He has been at the top his whole life, but he struggled last year. Lewis had the same problem as George last year… self-confidence, the car not performing well; the sum of all these details made the situation look bad, very bad, but Lewis is still Lewis,” he told F1.
