The FIA retains final responsibility for drafting the technical regulations, but the process involves the category, teams, manufacturers, drivers, and fans. With the next major change expected for 2030 or 2031, and the possibility of the return of V8 engines, Domenicali hopes that a framework for this cycle will be defined by the end of this year.
