The McLaren driver will have George Russell, from Mercedes, beside him on the front row. Kimi Antonelli appears in third position, with Oscar Piastri in fourth, while Ferrari occupies the entire third row with Lewis Hamilton in fifth and Charles Leclerc in sixth.

Max Verstappen provisionally starts seventh in front of his home crowd, followed by Liam Lawson, eighth with the other Red Bull. Gabriel Bortoleto placed Audi in ninth position and will have Arvid Lindblad, from Racing Bulls, completing the top 10.
