Martin Brundle dismissed the theory that he would be reducing his work with Sky Sports in Formula 1 in 2026. The commentator took to social media to clarify the ‘click bait’ of an article.

This year, Brundle will cover 16 of the 22 calendar rounds in person. He was present in Australia, the season opener, and missed China and Japan, returning in Miami.
Information then started circulating that he would be reducing his presence at Formula 1 rounds and Jake Humphrey even said on social media that Sky Sports already had a perfect replacement for the commentator, fueling more rumors about the future.
However, Martin refuted all the rumors. “Nonsense click bait, don’t worry. I have been participating in 16 races a year for quite some time and I continue to do so,” he wrote.

Actually, with the cancellations, I am at 15 of the remaining 19 races this season, subject to world events, of course, as always,” he added.
Information pointed out that the 2009 Formula 1 champion, Jenson Button, would take the commentator’s place. The Brit quickly denied it.
