Gabriel Bortoleto took advantage of the brief break that Formula 1 will have in April to cheer for another Brazilian. This Monday (6), the driver followed João Fonseca’s match in Monaco, with the duo meeting after the contest.

The match was the tennis player’s first at the Monte Carlo Masters 1000. Competing against Canadian Gabriel Diallo, currently in 36th place in the ATP rankings, Fonseca, who occupies 40th place, won by 2 sets to 0
After the match, then, João and Gabriel ended up meeting, interacting in a brief conversation – Bortoleto, Audi’s Formula 1 driver, was accompanied by his girlfriend Isabella Bernardini. “What a game, huh?”, the driver even said, in addition to congratulating the tennis player.

“I was f***ing tense, I was celebrating and shouting at every one,” said Bortoleto. “Formula 1 is harder. If you make a mistake, you crash,” joked Fonseca, and Gabriel denied it.
Still continuing the chat, Bortoleto asked when the next match is – it will be on Wednesday, 8, against Frenchman Arthur Rinderknech in the second round of the Monte Carlo ATP. Then, the F1 driver said he is traveling to the Audi base in Germany, but that he will return to watch the next matches.
