Gabriel Bortoleto showed excitement to compete in the Formula 1 Japanese GP, the next stop on the 2026 calendar. The Brazilian pointed out how much he likes the Suzuka track and that he hopes to cross the finish line at the end of the race.

The stint in Shanghai was not the easiest for the competitor and for Audi. In the end, the team left China empty-handed, with Gabriel finishing 13th in the Sprint and not even starting the main race on Sunday (15) – Nico Hülkenberg retired on Saturday and was 11th in the GP.
Now, in two weeks, between April 27 and 29, Formula 1 goes to Japan for the third round of 2026, and Bortoleto showed excitement to race on one of his favorite tracks on the calendar.

“It’s a track I enjoy, last year was special. It’s my favorite track along with Imola, Interlagos, right there, they are my top-3 that I like to drive during the year. Let’s see how our engine will react there too, we never know. I think our car has worked well on tracks of this style, now it’s about trying to finish the races, that’s the truth. Start, do everything possible and go for it,” he told Guilherme Pereira from SporTV.
