Gabriel Bortoleto has been taking advantage of Audi’s good form in the 2026 Formula 1 season. After scoring points again at the Belgian GP last Sunday (19), the Brazilian stated how every result has to be celebrated.

In the last two rounds, in Austria and Spa-Francorchamps, the competitor finished within the points zone. Now, there are three races in the top 10 and he has already accumulated ten points – in fact, he is responsible for all the points of the championship rookie.
After the checkered flag in Belgium, Gabriel did not hide his satisfaction with the good results recently secured, highlighted that Audi has been doing well and attracting everyone’s attention in the paddock, especially for being in its first season in Formula 1.
“I think we went through a lot. We had very good moments this year and very difficult moments too, with breakdowns and everything. But I think it’s more than anyone in the paddock expected from a rookie team, with an engine made entirely by us in the first year. Being able to compete in the middle of the pack is something incredible,” he told SporTV.

“I think everyone in the paddock respects all of this a lot, everyone talks about it, and that’s why I think our future within Audi will be bright, because if we already started this way, I’m sure in the coming years we will be fighting for great things,” he continued.
“Of course I’m happy about the points, but I’m not here just to score points, I have to be happy with every step we take, but I want one day to be fighting up front for wins and podiums, and I feel the team has the potential to get there the way we are developing. Keep working and focused,” he concluded.
